We collect information only when you choose to provide it:

• Contact form: full name, email address, subject, and message.
• Research series form: full name, optional email address, and, if you select an SMS category, your mobile phone number and your consent selection.
• Consent records: when you give SMS consent we record the phone number, the selected category, the date and time, the page where consent was given, the version of the disclosure shown, your browser user agent, and, where available, your IP address.

How we use information

• To respond to written inquiries sent through the contact form.
• To send the text messages you specifically consented to receive.
• To keep an accurate record of SMS consent and opt-out requests.
• To maintain and improve the website and its content.

We do not use your information to quote, sell, or compare insurance products, and we do not pass your information to insurers, agents, or lead buyers.

SMS communications

The CoverageLit Lab SMS Program sends Marketing messages only to people who have checked the corresponding consent box on our website. Messages may include account notifications or promotional updates about CoverageLit Lab research, releases, resources, campaigns, and tools, depending on the category you selected. Up to 4 messages per month. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. Consent is optional and not a condition of purchase, access, or use of this website. Mobile opt-in information

Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent, and phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will not be sold, shared, rented, released, or transferred to third parties for marketing, lead generation, or promotional purposes.

Phone numbers are used solely to deliver the messages you requested and to honour STOP and HELP requests. Service providers that transmit messages on our behalf may process phone numbers for delivery only and are not permitted to use them for their own purposes.

Cookies and analytics

The website may use essential cookies required for basic functionality. If analytics or additional cookies are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated to describe them before they are used.

Data retention

Contact inquiries are kept as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards. SMS consent and opt-out records are retained for as long as required to demonstrate consent history and compliance, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Your opt-out rights

• Reply STOP to any text message to cancel that SMS program at any time.
• Email inquiries@coveragelitlab.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures, including encrypted connections to the website, to protect the information we collect. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The website and the CoverageLit Lab SMS Program are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Our content may link to external websites for reference. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their policies.
